Utopia is one of the most bizarre TV series I have ever seen. First of all it is beautifully photograhed. Every single moment of the film is like a painting. On the other hand it is extremelly brutal and violent. They are killing children in almost every episodes, torture, blood and murder is overflowing. To be honest it is too much for me.
But still the series is sort of childish, more like a cartoon or a comics and very often funny, too. In this way it is similar to Tarantino's movies where everything, including violence, is a symbol or a metaphore only. We do not have to take it serious. Why not to play...
